You have outdone yourself once again. When I started to organize a trip for our Class to Dublin in 2012, I was hoping to get at least 100 people on the trip. I am PLEASED to announce we have 254 people going to Dublin for the Shamrock Classic. That is right.... 254 people. This includes classmates, spouses, friends and family members; it is an AMAZING turnout.

We have two years now to fully plan for our time in Dublin, especially that we now know the approximate size of the group. Tenon Tours has opened a window of opportunity to upgrade your trip at the original package price. If you signed up for the 4-day and want to upgrade the 6-day, you can do at the original price of $1,097 per person. If you are on the 6-day and want to do a 9-day or 12-day tour package, you can also upgrade at a lower price. Contact Tenon via their website, or call and speak to Erin Church at (781) 435-0425. Also, Tenon has a few spots remaining at an increased pricing structure now that the deadline has passed if you might still want to get on board. I will be working with Tenon Tours to have some special events planned for our class:

• A "Pep Rally" the evening before the game either at the our hotel or a nearby pub
• A tailgate pre- and post-game near the hotel and Avia Stadium; location TBA
• Golf packages, both in Dublin and Galway
• Some special city tours
• Anything else we can find that will enhance this experience

I will be working on some special Class of '85 Shamrock Classic shirts and caps using vendors from our reunion weekend to assist us and perhaps some corporate partners to help us lower the cost.

I have to say, I am pretty pumped about this. From here forward, we will be using a special email list for attendees to get the word out instead of a classwide email blast. I will also be working on group air packages from various cities to assist those who want to participate in the advantages of doing a group contract with airlines serving Ireland.

Once again, GREAT job, '85. As Heinz Lentz used to say: "I see some supers out there!"
